• Story of Joseph related to physical healings - unusual and excruciating pain in arm healed by realization that Providence turns all to good and by listening for angels
• Tender feeling in mouth healed
• Gratitude for protection when very heavy window was dropped on foot when being carried by two men. Foot was not hurt or broken
• Reminder shared about abducted reporter during Vietnam war who avoided rape while in captivity by loving her captor
• When living in New York, attemted rape in elevator was stopped after praying about Love being the only power
• Christian Science prayer led to resolution of conflict with software contractor working on extremely large project. Realization that personal well-being and happiness was not being controlled by problematic situation.
• Support offered for abducted reporter Jill Carroll
• Prayer for friend facing challenging immigration situation

• Handling mortal belief every day whether related to health, financial or other issues
• Teacher handled challenging classroom situation with the concept of “of my own self I can do nothing”
• Seeing fellow man as spiritual is a gift we can give all the time
• Need for companionship addressed with concept of already being complete with God
• When in college many years ago opportunity to share the Christmas story with a loving family
• God as best friend is always there and by allowing God to work through us we are praying without ceasing
• Responding to opportunity to serve made easier when approached with humbleness
